Dale Bricker, D Litt et Phil, C. Psych. (supervised practice)
Dr. Bricker holds a Doctoral degree from the University of Johannesburg in Clinical Psychology and is currently under supervised practice with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
For the past decade, Dale has been working with adults, couples and families, treating issues such as depression, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, substance abuse (drug, alcohol), sex addiction, relationship conflict, and grief and loss.
Dale has extensive experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings having run the Adult, Adolescent and Dual Diagnosis (Addiction) inpatient therapy programmes in a psychiatric clinic for several years. In addition to having worked in various hospitals, Dale also ran his own private practice in South Africa.
The foundation of Dale’s training is in Psychodynamic, Systemic and Gestalt theory as well as Dialectic Behavioural Therapy.
