Dr. Bricker holds a Doctoral degree from the University of Johannesburg in Clinical Psychology. For the past decade, he has been working with adults, couples and families, treating issues such as depression, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, substance abuse (drug, alcohol), sex addiction, relationship conflict, and grief and loss.
Dr. Bricker has extensive experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings having run the Adult, Adolescent and Dual Diagnosis (Addiction) inpatient therapy programmes in a psychiatric clinic for several years. In addition to having worked in various hospitals, Dr. Bricker also ran his own private practice in South Africa. Dr. Bricker is also a consulting psychologist to the Peel Regional Police.
The foundation of Dr. Bricker’s training is in Psychodynamic, Systemic and Gestalt theory as well as Dialectic Behavioural Therapy.
