Dr. Crawford has over twenty years' experience working with children, adolescents, and their families.

Dr. Mary Susan Crawford, PhD, C. Psych.

Dr. Crawford was previously employed as the Chief Psychologist at the Upper Grand District School Board where she oversaw the provision of psychological assessments and mental health services. She has always maintained her role as a clinical psychologist providing therapy as well as conducting psychological assessments. Dr. Crawford has over twenty years' experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. She also provides treatment and assessment for adults, including the assessment of adults with learning and attentional problems.

With respect to assessments, Dr. Crawford has a very strong interest in specific learning disabilities, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. She also has expertise in the assessment of language-based learning disabilities and nonverbal learning disabilities. Dr. Crawford has experience in the diagnosis and treatment of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, affective disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, and emotional regulation concerns.

With respect to treatment, Dr. Crawford is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness Treatment, as well as Collaborative Problem Solving. She has presented to professional groups in the areas of anxiety, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, memory functioning, learning disabilities, and functional behaviour assessments.
