Our Team
Kelly graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. She followed this with courses on grief, loss, and bereavement in the Bereavement Programme at King’s University College, Western University. She is also a graduate of the Ontario Psychotherapy & Counselling Programme with a diploma in counselling and psychotherapy.
In addition to her work at FVB Psychologists, Kelly serves as a bereavement care coordinator in hospice care, offering personalized one-on-one counselling and comprehensive grief education to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Furthermore, in her role as one of the clinical leads at Camp Erin (a bereavement camp), Kelly facilitates therapeutic support for children and adolescents ensuring a nurturing and healing environment for all participants.
In addition to her expertise in bereavement and loss, and drawing from a diverse toolkit including psychodynamic psychotherapy, client-centred psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, attachment theories, mindfulness techniques, and narrative therapies, Kelly works with clients 18 + struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, low-self-esteem, and trauma.
Kelly is an active member of several professional organizations including, but not limited to, the Canadian Association of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, the Bereavement Ontario Network, and the Canadian Alliance for Grieving Children and Youth. Her commitment to ongoing learning and collaboration underscores her dedication to providing the highest level of care to her clients.
