Shafik Sunderani is a Psychological Associate with designations in both clinical psychology and in forensic/ correctional psychology.  He has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, marital conflict, and family discord in adults. 

Shafik completed his PhD at McMaster University in the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour with a research specialty in romantic relationships, personality theory, and the causes of mental illness. Shafik has also completed a Master’s degree in Clinical-Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto. 

Shafik has published research articles and textbook chapters on the topics of: multi-cultural therapy, psychotherapy techniques, bullying, psychopathy, narcissism, romantic relationships, anxiety, and intimate partner violence.
